NEW REVIEW - Seriously under-rated

I bought this guitar 5 years ago because I had to switch from bass to drums in my band. I wanted something cheap that I could trash on the road, and this bass has taken a beating and never slowed down. The tone is great and everything has held up even after 5 years of hell in a punk band. It's worth every penny.

plays like it should be triple the money

bottom line: I was amazed at well this thing played. i myself am a bassist of 5 years, so when i picked up the mb-4 for my bro, I wasn't expecting anything more than a good beginner bass. I was SO WRONG. The Mb-4 plays like it should be triple the list, but priced at 200-250 (depending on location), it's a steal! the neck might toast in three years, but then again, it might not, and for the money, what have you got to lose. I'd recommend this to any beginner player, and any pro on budget. I'm pretty picky, but fender won me over with this one. Buy!

super awsome bass

The MB-4 skull and crossbones bass is awsome. It has sweet tone and quality for the price and works great. I use it in a rock band and I always get coments about how great it sounds and how cool it looks. It has that low bass thud and nice jazzy feel you want from a bass. I would defenantly recomend buying this bass.

Great to use

I have been using this bass for 5 months and playing bass for about 2 years and, I think it is the best bass I have used. I have used it at a few shoes out of my Fender amp and it is great. Also I have used a DigiTech Bass Wha with it and it still sounds great. If you are looking for a cheap bass with a nice expencive sound this is the bass you want to get.
