  • Great Bass!!!

As reviewed by Ryan on 7/22/2009

I bought this bass as my first five string. Love the way it sounds, i really like the active/passive switch. Overall, the bass sounds like it should of cost twice what i paid for it. I bought mine used. So I really feel like i got a deal. The ebony fretboard was a nice thing for such a value bass.

  • Good buy

As reviewed by piggy on 11/24/2008

I needed to pick up a cheap 5 string and always wanted a jazz bass. Since I've gotten this one I've been nothing but pleased. The build quality is great and I love having 3 tone controls. As expected, I had to reset the neck bow and action when I got it home, but after that it plays great. One thing I especially like is that the string spacing is the same as a 4 string. That makes the neck rather wide but being a finger player, makes picking much easier. The neck also has a light satin finish so your thumb slides smoothly as you change neck position.I really like this bass a lot.

  • You Should Go Try One Of These Out, Awesome Bass

As reviewed by Gary Deardurff on 7/17/2009

Before I stopped playing 20 years ago, I had 3 basses. Fender Jazz Bass Special, P-Bass, and a Memphis P bass. This bass guitar takes the place of all 3 I used to play. This bass is hooked to a Peavy Maxx 115 Combo Amp. I cannot believe what I here out of this setup every time I turn it on. This bass has great feel up and down the neck, and the selection of sounds that come out of this bass is awesome. I bought this in October of 2008 and will not need to buy another bass for any reason. If your looking for a bass that is priced right, plays very well, go to Guitar Center and test one out. You will not be sorry you tested this one out. Play on people....
