  • Blues Monster

As reviewed by Soulman on 6/12/2009

I have had this guitar, in black, for about a year now and this thing is awesome. I have been playing for over 30 years and have had many Strats including the early 90s Strat Deluxe with the Lace pickups. This plays just as nice and has a great sound for 1/4 the cost. I play through a 1961 Gibson Falcon Tweed and a Fender Blues Deluxe. When played through the Fender on the gain channel this thing rings and breaks up the tubes beautifully. I have decided that I am going to buy a white one for my backup guitar.

  • Good!

As reviewed by Edward on 6/22/2010

Great for blues or medium rock.Does ring out if string is bent over the 13th fret but is still a pretty good guitar.Ive played a $500 Fender and believe it or not this guitar towers over it.Bottom line...buy it!

  • Nice guitar, excellent value.

As reviewed by Scott on 5/23/2009

This guitar represents an excellent value in terms of what you get for the money in my opinion. It is a vesatile guitar that can play anything from blues to insane metal, although it is probaly best suited to hard rock and heavy metal with the supplied Duncan designed humbucker pickups. It delivers mondo sustain, which surprisingly is almost as good as my Les Paul. The fit and finish were excellent, the only exception being a slightly loose jackplate screw which was easily fixed with a slightly larger screw. Setup seemed very good right out of the box with no major adjustments required, I only needed to tune up the strings bfore playing. It's a good looking axe with the classic white body which contrasts nicely with the chrome hardware, black humbucers, rosewood fretboard, and maple neck, my only complaint is I think it would have looked a little bit nicer with an all black or white pearloid pickguard. This is a great sounding guitar on my Line 6 Spider III 75 amp, and I can dial in virtually any sound or tone I want with it by adjusting the amp settings and pickup positions. All things considered I'm very happy with this guitar and I would certainly recommend it as an excellent combination of features and value for beginner and intermediate level guitar players.
