It's a simple, affordable and practical electric guitar designed for beginners and students. The all-black styling includes the added benefit of 2 humbucker pickups to produce a wide variety of rock and blues tones.
I am an avid collector with over 120 guitars in my collection. I am mainly into Les Pauls and Stratocasters, but I have kept my options open whenever I come across a good deal on other models from brands that I collect. I was impressed when I first saw this model being offered at such a low price. Again, I am not a big Telecaster collector or fan, but I do find this model to be very nice. The finish and color (black out) is very unique. I am starting to re-think my collecting strategy with regard to Telecasters. The overall quality, appearance, and cost make this an exceptional value. I was able to get it on sale during the Holiday Season. The guitar was on sale at another guitar retailer, so I easily got the staff at GC to price match. I am very happy with this addition to my collection.
Good craftsmanship and good fit and finish. Great neck with good action. Great sound from the humbuckers. The tuning keys could be a bit better though but, they do keep the strings in tune for a reasonable length of time.
