  • A pretty sweet stat

As reviewed by John the low man on 10/5/2010

First, the good news: This is a very nice looking guitar. Construction is very solid all the way around. Playability is very good with the right strings and a good set up (which this guitar absolutely needs when you first get it.) Now the bad news: There are issues with this guitar staying in tune with even light tremelo use. There is also a good amount of feedback on two of the pickup selector settings. Overall: Nice looking guitar that plays nicely and sounds great on the right selector settings. At such a low price, I would say go for it.

  • Good Guitar

As reviewed by Will on 2/18/2008

It plays really well, I've had this guitar for about 3 week now and I LOVE it. I have a Marshal MS-2 amp for really cheap and it plays amazingly. I recommend this guitar.

  • love my Ava

As reviewed by GuitarbyHoel on 11/13/2006

I've had this guitar for two years, now... get some good strings and a decent practice sized amp...and this guitar will be very, very good to you... There was a time when I was concerned that I'd have to upgrade sooner than I'd like...however it ended up being my amp that needed upgrading, NOT the guitar at all... construction-wise, nearly perfect...there are a couple of "in the hospital" (because they're not dead) frets, the guy above who mentioned the nut where the amp chord plugs in gets loose at times is also correct in that...but you know what? A couple (literally two) frets out of 132 really isn't bad...at all...especially for the sound you get for this price so in conclusion, this is a great guitar...I play it all with it...blues, classic rock, old-school punk...GnR and Tool...this peg fits ALL holes
