It is an excellent guitar, not only for beginners, but for experienced players, too. Beginners: Don't get the regular Strat. Get this. It's better. Every tone I wanted on this thing, I got. It's also great with distortion. Best Squier I have ever played.

  • Rocks hard but, easy on the wallet!

My fiancee bought me this guitar just before X-mas, for my birthday. What an amazing guitar. The quality of this axe is awesome. The only complaint i had was the tuners were somewhat cheap. I quickly swapped them ot with Fender locking tuners, which solved the tuning issue. It plays really great. And the humbucker really growls and sings when ran dirty. I highly recommend this guitar.

around christmas i was looking for a black guitar that had a mirror pickguard on it and i was gonna get a yamaha pacifica and get a mirror pickguard. the guy at the store showed me this and i was excited. i played it and it was pretty nice so i got it. its an amazing guitar. great tone keeps tune very well, its got a whammy bar, and its 22 frets. the pickguard may be mirror but it doesnt scratch easily. it plays just as good as it looks. bottom line: amazing guitar highly recommended. only down side is the string height is a little high but its still good you might wanna get it fixed eventualy.
