As reviewed by Vishwanath on 4/2/2010

kk...i read a lot of reviews of this guitar before thinking of getting it... i think this one product that is very underrated...but let me tell you, this is a great guitar..seriously AMAZING! hmm..people say that squiers are of low quality and it can be used only as a beginner guitar and so on...but thats all problem at all... i tried playing on an ibanez 170dx also, and i had my eyes on that since people told me that strats aren't good for metal...but once i played on this...i just fell in love with it..!!! i play it with a LaneyLX35d amplifier and i can easily cover for metallica, maiden, megadeth and so on..!! i like the trem system too...probably goes out of tune a bit..but i dont mind tuning it again!! this is a great guitar and good for almost any kind of player.!!! get it NOW!!!! 5stars!

  • Awsome Fat Strat

As reviewed by Mark Rogers on 8/9/2010

This guitar has awsome pickups and great action. There are some small issues to work out so get a Pro Set-up. The truss rod needed adjusting to keep the guitar from going out of tune. Also, the action was high for my playing style so I had the intination set and the strings lowered. But since I have all my guitars set-up these issues are minor. Once set up plays just like a Fender Strat with humbucker pickup about 6 ohms thats real hot for metal and rock. I put some Ernie Ball Super slinkies on her and this Guitar Rocks. Great guitar for a beginner. This is my every day guitar to give my Jag a break. I would reccomend this guitar!! Just have it set up and you won't be dissapointed!!
