Bang for the Buck!
I own 24 guitars, ranging from Ernie Ball, Peavey, Gibson, and Fender, but this little Tele is my favorite! I recently started getting pretty heavy into country and flatpicking and just wanted a tele mostly for the tone, and when I picked this little guy up...I was impressed. As far as the play-a-bility of the guitar, it matches my Wolfgangs and Axis. The durability is comparable to some of my high priced Gibsons. I'm leaving it stock....no need to change anything. The pick ups are fine, the neck is fast, and the hardware is good. I'm getting another one in a different color soon as I get some extra cash.

Perfect Guitar for under $200
I just picked this guitar up last night and I was really impressed with it. But first off you must know one thing, the switch stinks and I wish Fender would just put on a better one. So just spend the extra $14 and get a new one. The neck is perfect for me because I have smaller hands. The string height right out of the box is very good and it plays like butter. The sound unplugged is great and just as good thru an amp. For a guitar to be priced like this is fantasic and it's a grerat deal. One last thing is that on the sides of a couple of the frets need to be filed down just a touch. Other than that it's a great value.

Affinity for Eternity
I have always wanted a Telecaster. I played one many years ago and really liked it. After playing an ES 335 for many years I decided to purchase a Telecaster. I bought the Affinity Tele model because I really liked the awesome butterscotch color. This guitar really suprised me with great playability and sound. For the money I don't think you can find a nicer guitar.

Nice!!
i bought this guitar in Early December, and i wasnt disappointed. the sound of this guitar is great unplugged and beautiful when plugged with some distortion. i had some problems with this though, i had to file down the sharp fret edges a bit and some of the hardware is a bit cheap. other then these minor problems its a great guitar.

I'm a player/collector....This Guitar Rocks!!!!!!!
As a semi professional musician....I have many guitars...83 Stratocaster, Epiphone Les Paul, etc. I just recently purchase this Tele, and absolutely LOVE IT.....a top notch guitar..Named it "Angie" in honor of Keith Richards and The Rolling Stones.....no more "Squier Nay Sayer Here!".....!!!!

I am in love...
Went to my local GC and tried out several different guitars, all more expensive than this one. Not only did this guitar produce some great sounds, but it is very forgiving and easy to play even for a novice such as myself. I couldn't find a guitar under $450 that has the same qualities. Cheap + great = love.

a great deal
My friend looked at me like I was nuts when I brought it home, but he agreed it was a better value than my old Schechter Omen-6. My only gripe is that the pickups are noisy and the selector is cheap feeling. I am getting a noiseless pickup tomorrow though. I can play Michael Angelo Batio style scales on it and it feels like butter. Maybe it's not meant for that, but the look and feel of a Tele are my thing. It stays in tune as did my Tom De Longe Strat (Squier also!) and the neck is sweet. Consider a shred guitar if you like that style, but this one isn't a joke.

My first under $200 guitar and impressed
I have been playing for abotu 15 years, and I picked this up the other day for "giggles". I got it home, plugged it in, and the sound is amazing. I can not believe this is a guitar that sells for under 200 dollars. It is my first Fender, and it will not be my last. I am planning on picking up a better model in the coming weeks because of this gem. It plays and sounds better (this is player preference) then any of my other guitars, which includes a recent Schecter C1 Plus. I will never give this one up, it is now my pride and joy and I can not put it down. The selector is of very poor quality, it was the first thing I noticed, but the rest seems to be a pretty solid entry level guitar that even us guitarist that are past entry level will be impressed with the sound and playability. The action it ships with was very friendly for me, which is rare because I do have smaller then average hands. You would be a fool to pass this one up.

So what if its a Squier
I couldn't ask for a better guitar especially for the price i payed for it. This guitar is perfect for anyone from experienced players to beginners, and so what if its a squier? It plays better than most actual fenders that I've tried out. It has a great tone that's easy to dial in and control along with a beautiful natural finish that will look even better once worn and aged for a few years. I love my squier tele and I know once you pick one up you'll fall in love too. And if you still can't get passed the fact that it's a squier then sand it off, no one will know the difference nor will they care once they see that finish and here that classic tele tone.

It's a tele!!!!
Simple guitar that will last...just as Leo designed it to be. For the money, this is no brainer. If you ever wanted to experience what a tele is all about, try one of these. Budget for a new set of pickups, ( check out Zhangliguns pickups...spectacular! ) new pots and switch and you'll be rewarded with a killer sounding and playing tele for peanuts. There are a few niggles...check the revies above...but for the money we are talking about here...man, just do it!
