  • Great beginner guitar

As reviewed by Dillon on 12/3/2010

This was my second guitar to go along with my SSS Squier Strat. I've had it now for 9 years, and if not for an ill advised stop at a 'qualified' technician's shop (not affiliated with GC in any way) it would still be my number one. The neck is about as versatile as it gets, good for chords, lead play, or just about anything in between. The pick-ups are great for beginner's and this is a guitar modifiers dream because of its low price and good quality. I now have a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail in the neck position, Texas Special Neck Pickup in the middle position and a DiMarzio Tonezone in the Bridge, and this baby can rip and roar for any style I need. The features are very simple and long lasting. If you see the reviews about "I bought this guitar and it broke..... blah blah blah" thats just kids who don't know how to take care of an instrument. This guitar survived High School, College, and my two year old, it can take anything. (oh and that idiot technician)

  • Awesome Guitar!

As reviewed by MCRizgr8 on 7/17/2009

I've had this guitar a few months now, and the sound is amazing. I've also got a Fender '62 reissue, but I love my Squier more! Squiers forever!

  • Great Stating guitar

As reviewed by The Brad on 5/4/2007

I have been playing guitar for about 3 years. I bought this guitar about 6 months after i started playing, and let me tell you this is one of the greatest guitars i've played. You can get all kinds of different sounds with its 2 single coil and double coil pickups. There is very little feedback and it sounds great through my Fender 210R amp. The only problem that i have experinced with my this guitar is that in the first few weeks of spring and winter it comes out of tune more often, but i consider that a very minor problem. Overall this is a great guitar for the money. I highly recomend it.
