String Winder

As others have said, this is an easy way to wind and unwind guitar strings. If you have trouble using normal string winders, this is for you. It easily attaches to a power screwdriver/drill and works great.

No more tired hands

I got this Spin Doctor string winder as I got tired of turning the turners manually. Just fix the Spin Doctor to a power screw driver, and I was able to change the strings much more faster and less effort compared to before.

Spintastic!

I bought this product because I saw a video, by Taylor guitars on how they re-string a guitar in their repair shop. Let me tell you, it couldn't be quicker or easier to string a guitar. I am always afraid to buy Elixer strings for fear of breaking one during the stringing process. Let's face it, they aren't cheap. I've also never been very good at it. The Spin Doctor String Winder takes all the frustration and fear away. Using the Taylor method, I cut the strings to the specified length and started winding. I was done in stringing my Big Baby in about 5 minutes. Now Taylor can do it faster because their electric screwdrivers are re-geared for quicker turning, but the one I have is adequate for the task. I will never fear stringing my guitar again. No broken strings and I have only restrung a guitar three times before. Buy this product and save yourself some headache.

Great, inexpensive tool!

I got this because of how tedious of a job it is to restring my semi-hollow with bigsby with one of those "twist-handle" winders. This makes pretty light work of it. The only downside I've noticed is that it doesn't fit very snugly into a normal screwdriver head receiver, so it falls out pretty easily, I found that a quick fix is to tighten directly into the screwdriver instead of using a quick-change receiver. Otherwise a very good product.
