The Spector Forte series was developed to bring the essence of what is their USA Series Basses to a price point that is greatly reduced from their other Neck-Thru USA models.

The Spector Forte-4 bass is powered by active EMG Pickups and the Aguilar OBP-2 Tone Circuit. It has solid Flame Maple wings and a 3 piece rock-maple graphite reinforced neck with 24 fret Pau Ferro (Bolivian Rosewood) fingerboard.

The hardware consists of a Spector USA locking-bridge in black finish, black Gotoh GB7 tuners and Dunlop dual design straplocks.

Includes hardshell case.

The philosophy behind the Spector Forte series is simple: no options, no frills, all tone.

The USA Series Forte Basses are hand-made-to-order by Stuart Spector and his small group of master craftsmen in their Woodstock, NY Workshop. Each is signed and numbered by Stuart upon completion so the owner will know that they are playing an instrument which is uniquely special.

Comments about Spector forte4 Electric Bass Guitar:

I was looking to replace a Spector Euro 4 I lost in a robbery a few years back. To make a long story short, this wasn't the bass I purchased to replace it, but ended up getting the Forte 4 do to delivery constraints on the other bass. I'm so glad things worked out the way they did and I own this bass. It has the upgraded figured solid flame maple body wings and is absolutely a beautiful instrument. It came with an Aguilar OBP-2 Pre-amp which sounded nice. I wasn't looking for nice and had already purchased the Spector USA HAZ Lab circuit to upgrade the other bass that I ended up not getting. I replaced the Aguilar with the HAZ Lab circuit. This bass sounds absolutely incredible. I own a few other brands of USA manufacturer high end bass's that I also use for shows and will never sell, but this bass has the qualities of all those other bass's wrapped up into one instrument. The tones I'm able to get are extremely versatile. This instrument plays like you would expect a high end bass to play, has great tone, looks like a piece of art, and is high quality. You can tell that who ever was part of building this bass had pride in what they were producing. The customer service I received from both Guitar Center and Spector USA has also been outstanding. The bottom line is that this bass is the bomb, and I look forward to using it at a large venue I'm doing a rock show at in a couple of weeks!
