Extreme Crack

This snare drum is, above all, a mind-blowing kick to the face. It absolutely CRACKS. I picked it up about a year ago and it's been my main snare drum ever since. People seem to pick on Spaun's bearing edges, but man, they lend themselves well to this beast. The hardware is sturdily made, and the lugs are high-quality and turn smoothly. It's made to be tuned supert tight, which lends itself well to punk rock, ska, and hardcore music. The only thing I disliked was the basic strainer and wires, and the fact that it doesn't tune low very well. But if you need a snare that'll smack you to the moon with every hit, this is for you.
