  • Good snare for certain sounds, not good all around

    I've owned this snare for 2 years now.... It is a nice snare for certain types of music, but it is not a good all around snare. It sounds great when tuned tightly, for a very tight crack sound. However, it does not tune down very well at all. When you're looking for a "Pop" sound and not a "Crack", this thing really struggles. Unline Brass or Maple, the tuning range does not exist for this. It's good at what it does, holds a tune fairly well and looks cool, but it's not very versitile.

    This snare is the best.It has a great look and a very great sound.Its great for any style of music. this snare gives mea perfect sound no matter which way I tune. It's a great Snare buy it.
