  • This mount saved my drumset!

As reviewed by Lucky drummer on 1/12/2010

I originally had a tama stagestar set and the bass was two small so i bought a 22". The tom clamp became too small for the bass, and my toms were resting on the new drum. I bought two of these clamps, fastend them with a wrench to my cymbal stands, and voila! My toms are no longer contacting the bass drum and the bass even resonates better. BUY THIS.

  • Good but not great

As reviewed by Robert on 2/23/2011

Ive had the L-Rod mount for about two months and over all it is works pretty good. It stays clamped to what ever you clamp it to and doesnt move around. It is very easy to set up and move and it is great for using in tight spots. I mount a Lil' Ridge Rider cowbell on it and it holds up well. On the other hand it doesnt hold up to hard hitting and often falls while wailing on it. I wouldnt mount anything bigger than small Aux. percussion stuff on it but over all i suggjest trying Tama or Pearls mounts over this one.
