Sound Percussion SPC20 Cymbal Boom Arm that I purchased is a good quality Boom Arm that I use for my Ride cymbal. I like the Hideaway boom feature that can make it seem like a straight arm. The 18" length is great because I can use it with a clamp to mount other cymbals. I use this with my Gibraltar RS rack. I have comparable Gibraltar boom arms that are cheaper (although they have 13.5" arms). So if you want to save a few dollars go for the Gibraltar version unless you need an 18" arm.
i bought 2 new stands with these boom arms. i have broken both of them in a matter of 2 months. they broke after the hinge that is on the boom arm. they are not well made at all. i would recommend tama stands.
