The heavy-duty Sound Percussion drum throne is equipped with generous padding, double-braced legs, and oversized rubber feet for stability. The drummer's throne also boasts integrated memory locks that ensure consistent setup. The throne's round seat is ultra-comfortable.
this is a pretty decent drum seat especially for the price. but the seat itself is not very well built. its simply a mount screwed into a 1/4" piece of plywood with foam ontop covered by leather. the plywood cannot stand heavyweight people or anyone over 170lbs. i weigh 185 and i dont even bounce when i play and its been about 2 months and the plywood already gave out. but this seat is a good deal for lightweight drummers
I got this throne about a month ago and I have already stripped the nut and I have to reset the height every few songs. I only weigh 175lbs, so I can't imagine a Heavyweight throne should have such problems. Again, for the price, it worked well in a jam.
The throne is fine; very comfy, but not as easy to adjust to a perfect height as I'd like. I can't vouch for its durability, as I've only had it about a month. The price is unbeatable for a new throne, though!
