I needed a cheap stand to hold my zildjian 16' crash, and while other sound percussion stands may be awsome, this one was fine for about 2 months, then one day when i ajusted it, by raising the height a little, it snapped, and broke completely. do not buy this stand. if you are gonna buy a sound percussion stand, buy the double braced boom stand.

just like the title. i use it for crashes and nothing else. the cymbal felts are really thin so you cant tighten your cymbals down very much. howevewr if you take the washer off the bottom and put it on top of the top felt then tighten it down, it gets a little tighter but is still loose. great stand part, just recommend buying some thicker cymbal felts.
