Horrible Grip.

One day the service at my church was moved to a much smaller temple at my church and the drum set there had no sound shield. So I took out these rods that I had but never used because I never came upon a time that I needed it. But at that moment that I needed it , it failed me. Every Minute I had to play with 1 hand and the other hand was to press the grip against my leg for it will go back into place because it kept on coming out, I did the same with the other rod. The wood is OK however the grip just ruined it.

Wedding Multi-Rods

I bought these for quiet gigs like weddings, this is the second pair I have bought and both pairs have rods separating and start extending beyond the tip. Every 2-3 songs you have to push them back in and there is no way to tape them or stop this from happening. They are durable and don't dent or splinter as fast as others I have tried but I'll be trying a different manufacturer for my next purchase.

Great Overall Buy

I just recieved my multi rod sticks in the mail two weeks ago. They are great for practice and playing in quiet situations for events (or in church like me). They have the weight of about a 5A or 7A stick with a good rebound also. Only down-fall is that from the first day just one stick out of the pair has been rebellious and the rods tend to slip out which causes the other ones to shift in the rubber grip. However, when working properly, the feel, grip and sound is great! I will buy again.

Sound Percussion Suprise

I got these sticks so I could play without a drum set and still get a cool clicking sound. Also, there were some at marching band in school and it was love at first sight. These aren't as big, but I don't mind. I play pretty hard, and yet they hold together, even when I thought they would snap instantly. They are good on the set, too, but I don't play jazz, I play mostly rock. I have yet to use them in my band Off City Limits, or in the studio, but they are fun, and sound great. Not what expected from sound percussion. Good Job.
