    This a great practice pad for beginners. I looked at several and compared the prices. Most pads with metronomes were in the $80 and up range. This came with batteries and a stick bag. The size of the pad is perfect at it helps you focus on where to hit the pad. The only negative is the chirping sound of the metronome as opposed to the usual tick-tock sound. It can get annoying but, when you're focused on your practice, it's easy enough to get used to the chirping. I recommend this product.
