I got this pedal for two reasons: 1) I was new to playing with a double pedal 2) It was UNDER $100!!! No, it's not a GREAT double bass pedal, but for a beginner, and for the price, it'll do exactly what you want. It's not really for anyone above a novice, and it's definitely not up for a constant beating. If you plan on going hard and heavy with this pedal, be prepared to have to fix it. But for what it's worth, I give it 5 stars, no questions asked.

These Pedals are honestly terrible. I have adjusted the pedals to the best of their ability, and they remain mediocre at best. People who give this product 5 stars are most likely not experienced with double pedals. These do not compete with any high end products or even decent products for that matter. These pedals have made me worse at drumming. I became adjusted to them and I had absolutely no sense of rhythm with my left foot afterwards. Your better off saving your money for something better. I wouldn't even recommend these to a beginner... Save your money
This pedal is absolutely amazing! took a lil while to put it together tho. Had it for a month and I can play extremely fast. I cant quite do rolls yet tho. Ive played for 2 years and got my kit about 6 months ago. BUY THIS PEDAL!!!!!!!!
When i first bought these i thought they were the most awesome thing because it was so cheap. They were really good but after about 4 months of playing on them the mallets started coming loose in the middle of playing. Plus I got a friend of mine who is a drummer to play on them and he said they are really hard to play on. What can you expect from a cheap pedal though...
i recived this pedal as a gift when i got my first kit but after a while it started to not suit my needs im a very heavy drummer and it just didnt fit my needs but id say the only good thing about this is the beaters they were wounderful after i got an other bass so i used them but i sold the pedal for a new single one but man i really miss those pedals
Bought my first double bass ever and it sucked. As i was trying to tighten and put it together the screw on top stripped completely in it. SO i never even got to hear if it was good or not. If it stripped now, then I don't even want to hold on to it and get a replacement part cause something else might break too.
Im a beginning drummer and have been drumming for about a year. This is a great pedal, I got it for christmas, and it's a nice pedal. Its definately worth the money, but I play metal, and I play hard, and the heads come loose sometimes.
People have been comparing this to Iron Cobra and Axis and other things. I've been playing for 6 years and have gone through lots of pedals, including dw9000, iron cobra, eliminator, etc. and played this at a friend's house. I tried everything on it to adjust it, but after changing the beater position, spring tention, and everything else, it still didn't do anything to make it "better than iron cobra" or anything else. It's ok for beginners
about a year ago i bought a 5 piece sp beginner set and with it i bought this pedal, well i found myself struggling with my attempted double bass play, after so many months i couldnt get it right, just last week i bought a new tama rockstar double bass set, and since then i found double bass being so much easier. in my opinion if you really wanna rock double bass either get a more expensive pedal or two bass drums, this pedal comes with a short shaft that really limits your freedom in placement for it.
I recently started playing drums for a deathcore band so I decided to pick these up last time I was at Guitar Center. I've never used double pedals before so it took me awhile to set them up but when I got them working they were FANTASTIC. Really great response and overall fun to use. I'd recommend these to anyone. Price isn't everything. Only thing even remotely bad is having to adjust once in awhile, but that doesn't take anything away from it. Still worth every penny.
Unlike all the other negative comments about this pedal, I Love It!!!!!! These pedals are really good and have stayed together. Also, I am really satisfied with the price. It is a very good pedal for its price. I play heavy metal and these pedals let me keep up with Slipknot and Metallica, even at their fastest parts. BUY THESE PEDALS!!!!
