reliable, inexpensive, simple pedal. much easier to figure out that some high end pedals ive messed with and you still get all the power and adjustability of expensive pedals.
It doesn't really have much more than any other pedal I've used but the thing I love about this one is, i don't use heel toe, slide, or swivel when im doing faster beats, i just use my ankle strength. the springs are pretty loose so even if you have a weak kick or use heel down (for some reason) you can get a loud hit without slamming the pedal. and its really easy to adjust the angle of the beater. on some of my friends more expensive pedals we couldnt even figure that out.
Ive had it for almost 2 years and its still holding up as good as when i got it, but some of the screws keep coming loose. you may have to tighten some stuff up regularly but other than that its sturdy.
Amazing pedal for the price. puts together quick, easy to figure out, and will last you a long time.

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Double Bass Pedal:

I would recommend this pedal for a beginning drummer but I would not recommend for a experienced drummer. It does fall apart because of its poor quality and it is not very durable. However, despite its flaws, its a good pedal for a beginning drummer.

Im sorry, but these are bad...

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Double Bass Pedal:

These Pedals are honestly terrible. I have adjusted the pedals to the best of their ability, and they remain mediocre at best. People who give this product 5 stars are most likely not experienced with double pedals. These do not compete with any high end products or even decent products for that matter. These pedals have made me worse at drumming. I became adjusted to them and I had absolutely no sense of rhythm with my left foot afterwards. Your better off saving your money for something better. I wouldn't even recommend these to a beginner... Save your money

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Double Bass Pedal:

I have had this pedal for two years, and I was happy how cheap it was. I put it together, and I played for a few weeks on it, and then it fell apart. I had to maintain some extra parts to hold it together. After that, it seemed to work pretty well. Two years later, every time I play it, the left pedal locks up and becomes non-functional, which causes me to mess up whatever song I'm playing. It happened when I played out the first time, and now it won't stop. This pedal is not OK for long-term use.

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Double Bass Pedal:

I do understand the old adage, "you get what you pay for." But usually you receive at least one use out of what you buy. After receiving this through UPS I hooked it up to my kit. As soon as I hit the main foot I noticed a lot of slop in the cam drive for the beater. No big deal. Went to tighten down the cam drive and the set screw style lug snapped in half!

        About Me Experienced

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Double Bass Pedal:

This pedal came to me as if it had just come off the line. Each component was separate and not a single thing on the pedal was set up. I had to basically assemble the thing through trial and error to try and get it to work. It took me hours to figure out how to accomplish this, but eventually I did. Once assembled, it is an average pedal at best. Definitely regret this purchase. Save up and get a decent pedal to forego the headache this one causes.

Comments about Sound Percussion Labs Double Bass Pedal:

This is definitely a good buy, I got this pedal on sale for about thirty percent off and it works great. personally I am a guitarist and not a drummer, but I bought a set to sorta dabble in drumming a bit and i wanted a cheap double bass pedal and this fit the bill. my only complaint is no instructions. This pedal wasnt terribly difficult to put together, even without experience but instructions would have been nice. BOTTOM LINE: Good if your on a budget or just a begginner
