Normally you would get what you pay for, but i don't believe this is the case. Sound Percussion Sticks are in my opinion one of the most durable sticks on the market today. I have used everything from zildjian, pro-mark, vater, to regal tip, silverfox, vic-firth and any other stick. You get, believe it or not, the same quality stick for a price that is unbeatable. Whether it's rock, metal, jazz, blues, world, or whatever is to your liking you won't be dissappointed!
I use the Wood Funk sticks at school and at home. Like them because they are thin but heavier than 7A. I recommend them to anyone.
I never thought that i would ever use anything other than my primary stick but now i am giging alot more and its tough to pay 7 or8 dollars a pair when you need 10 or more pair. So i read the other reviews and decided to give sound percussion a try. I cant believe how nice these sticks are!!! They have a GREAT FEEL to them and they hold up EVERY BIT as good as my vic firth sticks for HALF THE PRICE !!! I now use sound percussion 5b nylons EXCLUSIVELY and i LOVE them!!! They last a long time but when they break i dont have to break the bank to replace them!! Try a pair in your favorite size and you'll see what i mean!!
