okay, people are saying that this pedal is crap. 1. it extends PLENTY far enough for a snare in between unless your legs are a foot wide. 2. i can pound 32 notes on this thing extremely fast. although these are beginner pedals, they make do, and they are GREAT for learning. i highly recommend these pedals unless you are a very experienced double bass player.
This is the first double bass pedal I got. I learned how to stomp petty well on it. However the mallets that come with it are so light that to me it almost feels like a toy pedal. I changed the mallets out with some heavier ones and the difference is much better. Not only does it make it louder and sound better, but it feels more sturdy. I would recommend changing the mallets on this.
Im a beginning drummer and have been drumming for about a year. This is a great pedal, I got it for christmas, and it's a nice pedal. Its definately worth the money, but I play metal, and I play hard, and the heads come loose sometimes.
