oddly incomplete

I purchased this as a xmas gift for my son. Image shows a nice full set. However, you only get the drum and part of the hardware. You don't get the bass drum pedal, snare drum stand, cymbal stand, hi hat stand, hi-hat, crash cymbal, or seat! You have to purchase: SP HARDWARE PACK. You also need to purchase the hi hat and crash cymbal and a seat. The really odd thing is they don't show on the recommended list the "SP HARDWARE PACK" - which is absolutely REQUIRED in order to use the snare drum and bass drum. This review won't likely be listed on the site but it is something customers should be aware of.

good for beginnners

i got this drumset a long time ago and it still works well, except i took the bass drum head off 2 put a pillow so it would be muted kinda but now its all wavy and it looks really ugly. oh well this is a good drumset and I would suggest it to beginers

OUTSTANDING!!!

This is a great set for the beginner or the seasoned pro. Very well put together set, heavy duty double braced hardware. Bass drum pedal is adjustable and very responsive. As a drummer buying this set for my kid to start out on, I was very impressed with its quality. Plus it comes with everything you need to get started (except the throne). There's not much to improve on except maybe some quality heads and cymbals. If you dont have the cash for a highend set, you wont be disappointed with this one.

pretty good

i bought this set for little less than 250, it came with 2 toms a snare snare drum, hi hat and a crash. for such a low price its pretty good. just could use some new heads and cymbals. maybe a new pedal as well. but definitely great for a beginner!
