Burns CD audio format discs with Super Bit Mapping recording, high-speed finalizing, and CD text entry. 24-step program play and one-touch synchro start/record.

The unit is equipped with a 24-bit analog-to-digital/digital-to-analog converter, plus a headphone jack with a separate volume control. The recorder is working out very well; however, the instruction manual is not user friendly with step by step how-to's.

Sony CD Recorder works great

I have owned this recorder for about a year and a half and have had no problems using it at all. I do have to refer to the manual from time to time, but it is not that difficult to use once you get the hang of it and the recording quality had been satisfactory regardless of what media I am recording from. I am using this to transfer my old vinyl records to cds and it has worked great. I have also recorded from cassettes which also worked well. I have not used synchronized recordings from cd to cd but I have made "practice cds" which are songs from several different cds which I use to practice guitar with and so far all of them have been fine. Playback is also easy on this player and so far everything has worked in all of my cd players. I agree it could be easier to use but I have nothing to compare it to and I have managed to get plenty of use from it! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced recorder.
