As reviewed by Andrew Del Re on 6/2/2010

Out of all the digital recorders that I used with my band, this is BY A LONG SHOT the best. There really is no other way to beat this quality. One show my band played had 800+ people, and we parked this bad boy all the way in the back of the crowd, and the band audio came out to near perfection. If your looking for an excellent field recorder, you cant go wrong with the Sony PCM-D1 Digital Field Recorder
