I bought this because I write on my laptop on the road. If I know I am going to be flying on a puddle jumper, I don't bring my guitar, just a photon and an mbox. I wanted to be able to use these acoustic sounds for writing and maybe even demoing ideas and I was even hoping the sounds would be good enough to keep some of the parts. I have found this NOT to be the case. As a passable guitar player with a decent collection of guitars, I have a pretty good idea of what a guitar sound should be like. This is not it. Many of the sounds are completely useless, some are barely passable. There were some decent dobro and banjo licks (though recorded a little dark and dirty), but i don't see how they will be useful. I can't recommend this re-fill to anyone who is trying to get realistic acoustic sounds, they just aren't that good.
