The Soldano Reverb-O-Sonic 50-Watt Dual Channel 2x12 Combo is a streamlined amp with 2 independent preamp channels, Clean and Crunch, plus borrowed circuitry from the SLO-100. Clean delivers plenty of vintage American tone with a tight bottom end and a shimmering top. The Crunch mode is an aggressive voice, everything from old blues and rock, to ultra-hot modern lead tones. All of this tone is enhanced by a tube-driven 6-spring reverb with a shared level control. A 3-band EQ with presence control on each channel provides uncompromised sound. Back panel features include a tube buffered effects loop, reverb footswitch jacks, and speaker outs.

Soldano Reverb-O-Sonic 50-Watt Dual Channel 2x12 Combo Specifications:

  • 26"W x 20"H x 10-1/2"D
  • 63 lbs.

Sold on Soldano

I love these amps. Clarity, tone, sustain... what is not to love? Ok, well shared EQ does suck but this is the finest combo amp on the market. Sure, the price is steep, but you'll never need to buy another amp again. Put them up again any amp and it will blow them off the map. Customer support is fantastic and these things are built like tanks. Also, for all of you Spinal Tap fans, this goes to 11! Almost as if Mike did that as a joke. If you are into rock and blues, this is your amp. I always get tons of compliments on my Soldano and it blows everything else away. I played with this other guitarist... poor guy kept changing his settings every 5 seconds to try to keep up because my ONE amp and no effects sounded so much better than his Marshall and rack of effects. Buy one and you'll be sold too!

Sweet sounds from loud to soft

The thing I love about this amp is the phenominal versitility. From blues to the heavy stuff,it carries you along. The sounds I get out of this thing are beautiful. The highs are sweet and even at loud volumes(don't let the 50 watts fool you, this baby will crank)it is somehow easy on the ears.I play with the bass a few notches higher than treble and get all the bottom end of a Twin. The crunch channel is awesome, better than a tube screamer. This amp loves a strat with lace sensors or noiseless pickups, but really sounds great with any guitar. Thanks Michael Soldano, you hit it right with this one.By the way,the folks at Soldano are very nice and enthusiastic about any questions or discussions you might have concerning their amps, and are generous with their time.Expensive, but well worth the bucks as this ROS-50 is a no miss.I now own two of them.
