Any guitarist will tell you that it's important to have single replacement strings on hand so you're not out of luck the next time a string breaks. Having an assortment of single acoustic guitar strings is a great way to make sure you're never caught in a jam when it comes to keeping your instrument in performance ready shape. The most convenient aspect of buying single acoustic guitar strings is that you can have an assortment on hand if you have a particular string that needs replacing more often than others. For example, let's say you have a tendency to break your high e string more often than others. You can easily buy a bulk package of high e strings here, so you'll always be prepared and have extra available.

It's also important to make sure the individual strings you're buying complement the strings you already have on your guitar.
