Not bad at all for the price
I guess I'm use to older electronic sets. The last one I bought was an SDS9, so this is like a new world to me. I wish the bass trigger could handle a double pedal, but there is just no way. The trigger is way too focused. The smooth mounts pose a problem with stability. Had to go aftermarket and get some with some burrs on them. Works much better. Not really impressed with the voices, but I'm going to try a different brain. Hm.........now I'm thinking I should have gotten something different. Reconfiguration is costing me a ton to get this to my standards.

tap tap tap tap
Well, as a beginner the set seemed too cool to pass up for the price and it has served its purpose, but, the quality of the set is mediocre at best...although everything still works well and misses are a part of the set, it still delivers 'drumlike' sounds....Not for the pro for sure...and the friggen tap tap tap sound you get from the high hat, (or ride or crash) drives me nuts...the rubber on the cymbals is WAY thin and allows a plastic thumping sound..volume doesn't hide it too well when your sittin on the throne..I run it with the Roland 350 keyboard amp, (which is way cool) and it does allright enough to get you hooked on playin drums...think I need the Roland drums to go with the amp...maybe a splitter for another crash would work..??,,I recommend this for beginners and beginners only...rat-a-tat...

I like them
I like the kit. I am playing through a Behringer 180w. keyboard amp. I am also using them to trigger my Akai MPC 1000...I got all the sounds I want. I also liked the idea that I don't need any mics for the drums. I am sure the Roland kit for $2k is better, but this fit my budget and works!

Satisfied with apprehension
I bought this drum set because I needed something more than rubber practice pads, mute pads and plastic cymbals. This was cheap and affordable. While I hadn't planned to play these live, I do use it for small gigs and practice where I don't want to lug my pro kit around. I also found that It's easy to input, from MP3 player, a song and split the output to earphones and my PC where I recored my playing over the song.
The bad news: The kick will not accept a double pedal so I am looking to replace the pad. I might as well bought the DXT III Extreme kit. Also, the HH pedal did not work out of the box but Guitar Center replaced it without question. Thanks Guys...

Worked for 8 months.
I got this drum kit for Christmas, and within three months, screws started falling off, from - seemingly - nowhere. A month later, the snare pad started getting quieter and quieter. Now, it barely works unless you hit it in the exact right spot. Four months later, the hi-hat just stops working out of the blue. No quieting, just plain stops. No sound whatsoever. All in all, I was very disappointed. Now, I've abandoned this kit completely, and I've gone to acoustics.

Pretty good...
...For the price. I just got this kit, and I already know that I'm gonna have to upgrade sooner than later. The pads work fine and it's pretty sturdy, but the hi-hat pedal is either hyper-responsive, or not responsive enough sometimes. The module is decent. It offers a very limited array of sounds, but some of the kit pre-sets actually sound pretty good. And you can change the pitch of anything on the kit, so at least its slightly customizable. I would recommend this kit if you're on a tight budjet like me, because you can always upgrade the module and so-forth.

Excellent For Beginners! or mid experience players
I bought this kit for practice and small gigs , and it's a very good kit. You can play it with an amp ... or with headphones in silence. It has a lot of voices , and some cool features like a midi out . The kick pad (bass drum) its a little bit soft in terms of volume but you can adjust the volume and it sounds more louder , and with a good amp it rockzz!, also you can adjust the sensitivity of the pads , including the hi-hat and the cymbals...
I recommend this kit for it's quality , that probably it's not as good as a $2000-3000 kit but it's worth the price and for it's cool features and price ...

good deal
I have had this kit for about a month and have had no problems yet. the drumset sounds and songs are pretty decent. the price is good for the quality and as long as you take care of it the drums should last. it is quiet except the bass drum is a little loud but all in all a exceptional set

a beginners drum set
Well, I've recently got this drum kit and its a very good beginers set. This set has great sounds to choose from, and many possible adjustments to make, but if you play too fast-the drum will not make a sound. You also have to buy headphones and/or an amplifier (it doesn't come with it). Overall I think this drum set is a great drum set and has many ways to adjust the sounds and the pads. And it's for a great price!
