The Simmons Piezo Drum Trigger enables you to trigger electronic drum sounds, effects, and loops with an acoustic drum. It easily mounts to any drumhead to trigger any electronic drum module. A trigger hat and insulated rim jack mount clip come included. (Electronic drum module not included)
The triggers that Simmons provide us with are some of the best out .Affordable plus they get the job done with no problem.I think i will trigger the rest of my kit .Save all of that money Simmons is hear to stay.
Dont waste your money on the ddrum triggers. these triggers are far more durable and work just as good. Im running these through a dm pro and i couldnt be more satisfied with these. the only problem i ran into was that when playing live it would trigger at random, easily fixed by turning the thresh up.
I purchased this trigger originally because of the low price, but when I set it up, I was reminded of how Simmons was the leader in electronic percussion in the 80's and their quality is excellent. This trigger performed well with mesh as well as regular drumheads and came with a very cool trigger hat to ensure that it's not going to move when you play. My only negative issue would be that I wish GC would stock these in the stores more often. For what you get, you really can't beat this price!!!
