  • I was skeptical, but now...

As reviewed by JD on 5/9/2011

I'll be honest I was skeptical about this thing, I bought it for my TD-9K2-S V-Tour drums but this thing BUMPS! I can't hardly turn it up a quarter of the way or my windows are shaking and the sound quality is studio! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this monitor for ANYTHING, I've plugged the iPod in, the drums, the computer, it just works!

  • Plenty of power

As reviewed by Mike LiCausi on 4/18/2011

This unit I use at home and rehearse with songs off of CD's that are on the bands set list...I am impressed with all the imputs that make it possible to operate this monitor without a whole bunch of adapters...there are seperate volume controls for each imput and allows you to fit in perfectly without the kit or the prerecorded material being overbearing....absolutely serves my needs at home...I just use it to workout and get back my strength and stamina back after a prolonged hospital stay....

  • Ballsy lil' Sucker

As reviewed by D. on 12/24/2007

I compared both Simmons amps with the Rolands in the store. The Simmons amps sounded more solid and had a very dynamic range. It's plenty loud enough for practicing and playing along with music. I can drive my roomates nuts in a fairly large house and make my ears hurt. This amp will not work (and isn't ment) to play live shows, so dont expect to blow windows out with it. I am happy. Try one in the store and you will quickly see how loude the little amp gets.
