The Silver Creek Vintage Archtop Single Cutaway Guitar Case is vintage in every detail from the heavy-duty arched top to the crushed velvet interior. Features black Tolex covering, six latches, and an accessory compartment. Modeled after pre-WWII style cases. One-year warranty.
This case looked SO good for the money, and when it arrived it looked great: nice plush green velvet and a little hydrometer thingy built in. When I tried to put my Les Paul in, the problems started: it's too short. Not much too short, but too short. The top of the guitar's headstock was jammed up against the inside of the case, and that part's unpadded. One good whack on the outside of the case at that place, and you've got a broken headstock or neck. Oh and yes, I DID measure my guitar and compare it to the measurements given on the website....and it still didn't fit. I can only give a product one star when it completely fails in its basic purpose. Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy.....please look into this, Guitar Center!
This is a beautiful case. It's a very strong archtop with large heavy duty latches, leather handle with large attachment rings, groovy green plush interior, solid stitching and a great look with the bump out for the head stock. I bought this for my Michael Kelly Hybrid Special. It just barely fits with a t-shirt under the lower bout. My Gibson Les Paul bfg fits very nicely, but only after I smooshed down the lower neck support. Easy fix. I took it out and started cutting it, but discovered that the smoosh effort worked just fine. Not sure why they designed it that way. No LP would fit like that. Again, easy fix. I definitely recommend this case. There's plenty of crappy cases out there for a lot more money. This is a great bargain.
