Comments about Sibelius G7 Guitar Tab Notation Software:
Hi Everyone I picked up Sibelius G7 to use for making guitar lesson handouts and to use for guitar notation and TAB printouts of music I compose. G7 is very guitarist friendly. It does many things no other piece of music software does and G7 does many things that Guitar Pro does not do. My version from Guitar Center came in a DVD jewel case. One program disc and two pdf manuals on another disc. I like to have printed manuals in addition to a programs built in help, so I printed out the manuals and put them in a binder. G7 is easy to learn. You can do the tuturials in one evening, read the parts of the help file and manual that apply to whatever music projects you are doing and you are good to go. You can mouse and keyboard everything, including selecting guitar tunings and chord diagrams. Or you can enter notes also with a midi guitar or keyboard, plus step time entry, or importing a midi file from anther program. There is also telephone tech support from Sibelius and well as Sibelius Forums, if you have any questions. You can not go wrong with G7, if you are teaching guitar, composing for guitar, or simply want sheet music of your songs. Happy Guitars, MidiVox
