The SLX SM58 is just great. We have six of them for our Chorus Department sound system. They work great as solo mics, and in some cases they have been used to mic small choral groups. What can I say? Its a Shure mic, you cant go wrong!!
The SLX4 receiver is amazing, it has an automatic frequency selection which works very well. The automatic transmitter can be set up with up to 960 frequencies enabeling the user to find the best frequency to maintain a strong signal. The SM58 is an excellent mic and I have used them on stage for over 15 years without any problems. The reciever unit is built tough (it is my main mic and reciever for on stage use). I have never had a gig where I could not get a signal with this unit. This unit is worth every penny and you will not be disappointed.
