The sure pgx14/pg30 is a vast product, Iۡve personally never had one of these guys drop out on me. It has great response, and I love that shure makes a variety of headsets and mics to use with this model. Plus the battery life on these guys is great. I strongly suggest buying if you want a quality product without going penniless this is your piece of gear

My drummer uses this, it sounds great, it handles feedback really well, it stays on his head, and it is reliable (it never shuts off for no reason) BUUYYY TTTHHHIIISSS!!!!!!!
After haveing been involved in several drama and broadway productions i noticed that all of the people in auio-tech would use this same wireless microphone. it sounds supreme and broadcasts through and soundboard you need it to. shure has set high a standard in headsets. the only downfall is that i enjoy having a microphone to throw around when im on stage and you cant do that with a wireless headset.
I absolutely love this wireless system. I had just bought 1 system for our church drummer, he loved it so much that I bought 2 more. I have personally used it and I really liked the sound it gives you. I was running 2 guitars, a bass, a synth, and the 2 vocals and the sound was awesome. I could actually hear each sound perfectly without the need of a high volume. I use to be the kind of musician that likes monitors only but after trying the wireless headset I would rather use the wireless system. I am very picky with my sound at church, but after using the Shure PGX14/PG30 headset wireless system all I have as instrument monitors are these wireless systems.
I purchased this Shure wireless headset to replace a Sennheiser system that was stolen at a show. I went with Shure because I have owned several of their products and the price was considerably lower than a new Sennheiser wireless system. Overall it is a well functioning unit, and does what I need it to do. It's not quite as small and comfortable to wear as the Sennheiser, and mine did not come with the neoprene cover which is pictured in some of the product photos, but I give this product good marks for sound and functionality.
Shure makes some pretty great products and this is definitely one of them, for the price you can't go wrong, nice and clear. The PG series is actually pretty good. what i like is that later on you can order cables for instruments, lav's or handhelds for the same unit, so it makes it very universal. would recommend!
Im a worship leader, being mobile on the platform is a must. The Shure PGX system has never failed and I have yet to find a drop out. I needed a head worn system that was sturdy and reliable, shure has always been an important part of my setup. great system, definitely would suggest to the player/singer that likes to move and can be confident in their mic
I have bought one of these before and with in a months time , it had already burned out on me. I went to exchange it for another and again it burned out on me. I believe one of the main reasons why is that each one came with the wrong power supply adapter with the wrong amount of miliwatts. My first one didn't even come with one and I had to get one separately. From my experiences with it, it didn't cut out though had did have promising range. But the antenna Im a bit cautious about it becoming damaged over time with it being just a rubber cable.
