Comments about Shure PG48-LC Cardioid Dynamic Handheld Microphone:
This is my second Shure mic. I was a little apprehensive based on my first Shure (an 8900). HUGE difference. The PG48 is more powerful, and a great price point. So far I'm using it for singing with a small group of musicians. It does the job, and is a true cardioid not picking up other sound sources. It's nice-looking, too, with the contrasting silver grid. If you're looking for a basic microphone for speaking engagements or singing karaoke or beyond, you really can't beat it and you're not investing a lot.
