When I was shopping for a wireless mic, I wanted the ULXS24 Beta 58 as I had read some reviews that the Beta 58 seemed to work a bit better for some musicians than the Beta 87A. Well come to be that they didn't have it in stock and I had a gig that weekend. So we called up a Shure rep and he strongly recommened the Beta 87A for a vocalist as it is a condenser mic. Anyway, I ended up buying the SLX24 Beta 87A and I have to say that it is definitely the best investment I have done on any mic. I have done a quite a few gigs already and the quality of sound just amazes me every single time I'm singing.
I recommend this mic to any lead vocalists out there for sure.
