    Brilliant product. I've never liked the typical stage stands. They're too bulky when you're moving gear and often don't hold the instrument very securely. These solve both problems!

    I wanted to like the Shubb Talon guitar stand; it would have really been convenient to have a stand that folded up to nothing, it does that. It's made out of quality materials and the hinge is unbreakable, as advertised. So what's the problem? ...well, it's the stand part actually. Left unchecked, it would have let my Ibanez Soundgear slide off, that's unacceptable. It isn't like put your favorite axe in the Talon and bam!...but maybe the unbreakable materials are too soft; it can start to settle unexpectedly, then, if you aren't paying close attention, your guitar/bass can begin to slide. Shubb's a top notch company, Shubb's capos are unmatched, so I'm sure they're working on redesigning the Talon; out of principle I hate to give bad reviews, generally I just review gear I've had great experiences with, but I know how heartbroken most of you would be if your guitar took a spill, so buy something like the Ultimate GS-100 Single Guitar Stand and really protect your investment.

    I have to hand it to Shubb for this modern guitar stand. It is very stealthy and cool and best of all it fits in my case with my guitar! I can only give it 4 stars because it won't fit all guitar shapes, however if your guitar fits I highly recommend it. I disagree with the other reviewer about stability. I find it adequately stable. This stand rawks!
