This slide is great and the wooden grip is the best! I've never wanted to use the glass one because it doesn't sound as great as the ShubeGS-1. I have only used it, but i'm definatley going to buy one.
Great fit; I can hold onto it better than the Stevens bar, so fewer divits on my dobro-fewer launches across the stage.
