Shaker Dynamic Handmade Harmonica Mic 1/4-Inch Jack (270543)
Availability:

Thick, fat tone!

This tiny, handmade dynamic mic is designed for the harp player seeking huge, fat tone without the bulk and feedback of traditional mics. It cups easily in your hand so that you can produce cool acoustic effects normally limited to players who use a mic on a stand. The built-in, detented volume knob cuts you free from your amp's volume control and the feedback-resistant design lets you get as loud and nasty as you want. Equipped with a 1/4" phone plug connector.

Shaker Dynamic Handmade Harmonica Mic 1/4-Inch Jack Features:

  • Handmade miniature dynamic mic
Fat tone without the bulk and feedback of traditional mics
Cups easily for cool acoustic effects
    Built-in, detented volume knob
    1/4" guitar jack

  • As advertised

As reviewed by Scott Sutherby on 11/7/2012

This microphone is everything Shaker says. Fat tone, no feedback, cups easily, etc. I knew this was the right mic for me as soon as I plugged it in and played a little. Thanks Shaker Joe and Guitar Center!

  • Beats the hell out of a traditional bullet mic

As reviewed by Slant 6 on 5/2/2011

I bought a Shaker dynamic mic about a year ago in an effort to find a hand held alternative to traditional bullet mics. I prefer a cleaner sound that one can get from any of the currently available bullets, but don't do all that well with regular vocal mics either. I find playing into a stand mounted mic too limiting, and I don't like the handling noise when I try to carry a regular acoustic mic around with me. The Shaker is an awesome little mic--not so clean obviously as a acoustic, but not nearly so thick and nasty as a bullet. I like the sound whether I play it through a tube preamp into the PA (can't say the same for my bullets) or right into my Blues Jr. It is a very light mic, and easy to hold. The volume control convenient, and while you can get it to feed back by doing something really stupid, it is all but idiot proof. There is is nothing not to like about this mic.

  • Excellent MIC

As reviewed by Eddie on 3/22/2010

Got this mic yesterday and it sounds EXCELLENT. Very easy to hold. VERY LIGHT, feels like your just holding the weight of the mic cable instead of the mic. Volume control on the mic itself is very handy. Great sound, clean or with effects. Highly recommend .
