Overview

The Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Pickup is a warm, moderate-output humbucker. Great for jazz, blues, classic rock and slide. After players heard the Alnico II Pro„¢ single-coil models, many asked for that same sweetness in a humbucker version. The only way to get that sound is to use the Alnico II musical magnets with a new coil winding. The result is a warm, sweet tone with more natural string vibration for great sustain. 4-conductor cable.

Worth every penny!!

By Joe V

from New Jersey

This pickup has the smoothest sound. I play every type of music exept metal. This pickup will suit your needs. I droped this set into my les paul and it sounds much better than the 490r & 498t combo that was originally installed. The ALNICO 2 Pro seems to have a great balance of lows, mids, and highs. I would suggest taking the covers off because these pickups have pretty low out put. But that is not a bad thing. You wont regret buying these pickups. Trust Me

Sweet Pickups

By Antonio

from New York

I'm a big fan of Slash. And I knew that these are his favorite pickups. I never knew how large a part they played in his sound. These pickups are fantastic. Play them softly and you get a nice clean tone and strike the strings a little harder and you get a nice, fat, dirty tone. The best part is the subtleties that pop out...for example, I can hear my fingers touching the strings and I can hear the pick hitting the strings. I actually took out the stock pickups from my Gibson Les Paul Studio (490R & 498T) for these and I'm really pleased with them.
