    I bought this SD pup to install in my Fender USA Special Run chambered mahogany Tele. I have been playing semi-pro for 30 years and currently play small cocktail lounges and go for mostly clean jazzy tone. The stock pups in my Tele were just too noisy, especially in places with dirty ground wiring. I prefer the Tele over my other guitars, so I went looking for a solution. The Seymour Duncan is an excellent sounding pup and is as quiet as they get (amazing). It is very well balanced from bass to mids-highs. It is at least as hot as the stock pup it replaced and fits perfectly in the Tele with no modification whatsoever. Wiring it up was easy using the detailed diagram-directions that come with the pup. If you want your Tele to look stock, have awesome sound and NO Noise .. this is an excellent choice.
