  • Invader 7-String Pickup

As reviewed by John McGibney on 3/2/2009

I got the Invader to replace the stock bridge pickup in my Ibanez 7 string rg because the stock was way to muddy. The Invader is really clear, crunch, and is raunchy as hell, when the distortion is on. It is just as clear and it sounds beautiful when your clean, too.

  • Still Brutal

As reviewed by Horns of Satan on 3/26/2008

This pickup up sounds great. There is not too much output, and my guitars have plenty of sound nonetheless, this pickup gave them plenty more. Don't listen to Themis in the last reveiw he probably did not wire it correctly. This pickup has great responsiveness and plenty of tone and bottom end. This is my second purchase of this pickup and is in a Neck through Schecter 007 Elite. Sounds amazing!

  • F'n Solid

As reviewed by Tom Jr on 8/18/2008

This pick-up is just plain f'n solid. It's in my 7 string Washburn and sounds fantstic. The lows are beefy without being muddy and the highs are suprisingly responsive. Another pleasant surprise is the lack of noise/feed back I get with the volume all the way up (compared to the stock washburn humbucker). If you're looking to upgrade from a stock humbucker, this should be at the top of your list.
