  • Awesome Pick-ups

As reviewed by Joe Izzo on 2/25/2009

I put them in my Epiphone Les Paul Custom and they rule. The noise cancelling feature is really nice, and the tone is unbeatable. Even though they are indeed made for metal, they put out a crisp clean sound.

  • Amazing Pickups

As reviewed by O.B. on 7/31/2008

i was a little skeptical when i got these pickups i thought they were going to be a little two aggressive when i installed them wow you can get every tone you can think of the neck is really warm perfect for that slash kind of sound the bridge has a lot of bite and clarity(coheed and cambria sound) both of the pickups combined sound amazing i highly recommend this pickups for any style of music oh yea the bad thing these pickups can pickup can hear that sound when your finger goes up or down the strings i also recommend ernie balls power slinky with these pickups harmonics are amazing

  • They saved me from buying a new amp!!!

As reviewed by Kevin on 4/10/2008

I have a Crate 120watt combo, and was getting pissed off at how muddy it sounded at "live" volumes, by some stroke of god, my pick-ups shorted out on my Epiphone "Demon", So the first thing on my list was to replace those pick-ups (obviously). I hooked these bad boys up, and plugged it in. My overall volume went up at LEAST 30%, and the clairity seems to go forever. I could turn my amp up to 11 and they'll still sound clean. I used to put my amp volume at 8 in order to be heard at band practice, now it simply goes to 5 or 6 and I feel like I might be overpowering my bandmates. They are PERFECT for someone looking to play crunchy riffs, while still blazing through sweeps without having to switch to the neck pick-up.
