This version of the G3 series adds an improved display and channel syncing with the transmitter as well as battery status at the receiver.
It still has one of the best battery useage profiles of any system - I have them come back with NO bars and still working.
Lapel mic is one of the better ones out.
Overall great value.
Sennheiser makes consistently good products. This particular Lav Mic is a great performer for the price. It's hard to find a UHF mic system with these features in this price range that performs anywhere near as well. In fact, you won't find anything on par with it. Spending hundreds more dollars will only get you a slightly better microphone system. If you want great performance at a great price, you can't go wrong here.
Im nt completely blown away but I guess thats not the point of it. It does it job well enough but a little pricey. I should've done some more research and probably something cheaper would've done the job as well..
