Great Value

Pros: Long wire, 1/8 in. plug with an adapter if you need 1/4 in. Great sound for the buck. Cons: Light plastic and very thin wire, but this makes it very portable.

Good for casual listening

Well to start off these are constructed pretty well so they should last a while. The sound quality is decent but I would not recommend them for recording applications. If you want some headphones to listen to music with from a CD player or MP3 player these should be adequate. I found them to be decent at best nothing special. They sound a bit flat and the low and high signals are nothing impressive. These are good middle of the road listening headphones.

Sennheiser quality - reasonable price

Bought these this weekend to use as tracking headphones when recording. The sound is crystal clear, the cord is good length, and they are very lightweight and comfortable to wear. I'd definitely recommend these.

Good For Casual Listening...And That Is About It.

I purchased these headphones because I know that Sennheiser makes a great product and at the least they would have good enough clarity to be able to handle simple "home studio" applications. I was not initially impressed with the quality, the entire unit is made out of plastic, but you would have to expect that for the price. The headphones have a comfortable fit and wouldn't be a bother to wear for an extended period of time. They come with a standard 1/8" to 1/4" TRS connector which makes connection to mixers and other equipment possible right out of the box. The sound is good, however the bass frequency is a little pronounced and the mids are not as clear as I would want. In my opinion, these headphones are good for casual listening and games, but if you want some good headphones for accurate mixes and monitoring, spend a little more. Even so, you won't be dissappointed with these.

Go Ahead, Try 'em...

I purchased these headphones as an emergency replacement for a pair of Aiwa headphones I had been using for recording/mixing. These heads bost a input acceptance which makes them geared towards professional applications, however, they are a bit too flimsy, and they're not all that comfortable. The sound quality is average at best. bass response is fair, however, Hip-Hop, R&B, House, Techno, etc only sounds good at very moderate levels. for $25 I could have done a lot worse, but I've had better. We'll see how long these last...
