I can finaly hear myself sing

The Sennheiser EW 300-IEM G2 was the best thing I have ever purchased. I constantly strugled to hear myself sing from stage wedge monitors due to the loud external music the other mates in the band made.especialy the off key singing of our drummer who now is out of my mix thank God. I now can sing without screaming to hear myself and I am saving my hearing that I am sure I would loose in my old age if I would have continued using the stage monitors.I now have a Crytal clear mix from aux 2 and a customized mix for me. If you have the cash buy it you wont regreat it. The only problem now is every guy in the band wants one and I am going to have to upgrade our board for more aux so we can keep seperate mixes so that mine doesnt get poluted from the rest. Love its user freindly commands. The only problemb I ecountered was the miss labled reciever funtions in the manual other wise its plug and play. I have had many more complimants on my singing now that I can relax and hear everthing that I didnt before plus removing oviouse distractions that only came through the mom mix.

Simply incredable

In 2006 I had the pleasure of mixing monitors at Ozzfest in San Francisco. I've been exposed to extremely high db levels live and in the studio and I finally decided to go with an in-ear system. It was the best desicion I have ever made. My first in ears were the Shure E-2s that I bought from Guitar Center. Great single drivers but nothing compared to my now famous Ultimate Ears. My first experiance with the Sennheiser system was at Ozzfest's main stage and ever since I am hooked. If you are a musician you should get an in ear system. Wheter it be the Shure PSM series or something GREAT like the Sennheiser. In comparison with the cost/value with Shure's systems this is about the cost of a mid level Shure with FAR beyond the features of a high end Shure. The reliability is great and there is always a clear frequency. No dropouts. And if you buy yourself a set of Ultimate Ears to go with this system you're golden. If they trust it on Ozzfest's main stage shouldn't you?

Get rid of the floor monitors

The Sennheiser EW300 is an excelelnt wireless monitoring system. First I have to mention that the unit retains a strong signal with its powerful transmitter. The unit has switchable frequences so that several people can use them at the same time. The earphones are excellent, they are comfortable and they sound fantastic. The whole package was constructed well so it should last a long time. The unit seems to be a little expensive, but then if you break down how much it would cost for a traditional monitoring system you find that this is very cost effective while saving your ears in the long run. I wish I had this system years ago!

Unreal Performance

Scrapped the Wedges, Amps, Extra Cables and all the other junk crudding up our stage and went with 5 of these EW300/G2's. I have found that our stage volume has significantly deminished and front of house engineers now love to mix our performances. Went with the Sennheiser series over Shure by suggestion from an old Enginneer friend. He commended Sennheiser for the availability of channels available over the other guys. No signal problems other than the antenna. Spring for the extra $50 and front mount the antenna and you're in business. The buds that come standard with them are not of the highest quality. Our next step is to pair these up with some dual-driver ears and really put to the test.

Best Ear Monitors Out there

After 15 years of FOH mixing, I can tell you what most guys will tell you. Nothing will screw up your mix faster than stage volume that is too high because of wedges. We run a theatre church, and use 10 sets of these. Amazing. Whenever i mix in rooms with ear monitors, it never sounds as good as it could. Things have to be artificially loud, and the mix suffers. If you are in the market for a REALLY good set of ear monitors, look no further. Forget the Shure PSM stuff, this system blows their top self stuff out of the water. We demo'd these, and the high dollar PSM's before making a decision, and these won hands down, not a single vote for the PSM's. Bottom line, these are the best ones out there. Won't use anything else.
