It has a Switch

This microphone is amazing. It is the same mic as the e835 but with a switch. We play Hip Hop, Blues, and Heavy Metal, the e835s holds up to all styles of music & all vocal tones. I own the e835 and the e835s, and both of them are excellent mics. I can't notice a tone difference between the two, & if you jam at a warehouse, the switch feature is heaven sent to stop that annoying feedback. Shure better get their game together, becuse the Sennheiser mics are far superior.

Good Live/Rehearsal mic

This is a good live mic that in my opinion has a better range and more punch then the Shure 58 for about the same price. For whatever reason, this e835S is not as loud as my other e835, which does not have the on off switch. I would recommend this mic, and Sennheiser in general, as I feel they have kept up with technology, where Shure has fallen behind.

Smooth sweet sound

Very happy with this mike. Gave me just what I wanted to give my group a smoother vocal sound. The the right amount of bright-ness to make the vocals stand out.
