For such a cheap little mic, the E815 is quite a workhorse. You do have to be careful as it does tend to have slightly high self noise, but as long as you don't layer too many tracks at the same time, that should be lost in the mix. I find that with my vocals I have to lower the end and peak the highs a tad, but that's just what I prefer my voice to sound like. For the price, you won't find a dynamic mic quite like this one.
These mics added such a RICH quality to my worship service, and my recordings sound so crisp! I recommend these mics to all of my Pastor friends. If you want clear sound make the switch. I have a wireless Sennheiser, and I LOVE IT!
This mike is fine as long as you sing (centered up) into it. It's durable and can take some abuse. Not a cheap fragile little mic at all. I use it sometimes when I record on my home PC and my voice always records with no brightness to it. Recommend you find another mic if you want to use it strictly for recording thru PC software.
